My dear city of Angel - BKK!

To say that I can't believe this is happening would just be a lie.
Still in the back of my mind i wish that it won't happen.

Update the situaion now (20/09/06: 2.30 am. local time)
- There are up to 17 tanks on the road around the governmental house and major intersections.
- There is no news on the local channels. An army-owned TV station is showing images of the royal family and songs linked in the past with military coups.
- BBC World, CNN and other international news channels have been taken off the air.
- The Council of Political Reform has gone to see his majesty the king at midnight.
- The Council of Political Reform has announced the day off (20/09/06) for governmental office and Bank.

I have heard CNN reporter asked "What is the situation in Thailand, the country that has known of modest and beautiful country?"

I have read most of the situation in my coutry from international news channels and websites.

I have seen nothing update from my own local television.

I have been shut down from all the medias.

The cell phone network was jammed for a short period of time.

I have been told that this might be good time to create the awareness of people regards of the current issue in my country. I just wish that it can be done in other way. With all of my hope that everything will just be sort out without any attack or violence. There were too many blood shed already 15 years ago.

Moreover, with those happened have made me think of the power of the medias and the power of the people.

How much we can be shut the eyes and ears from.
